IMPROV playground — The Space in Between

The Space in Between is an improvisational session exploring negative space, shifting speeds and shapes, and the subtle moments where bodies meet in motion. We focus on how contact emerges — softly, unexpectedly, or through contrast — and how movement changes when we pay attention not only to form, but to what exists between forms.
The session is structured in three parts:
1. Guided Warm-Up
A short, intuitive introduction to prepare the body: grounding, breath, working with space, and tuning into group awareness.
2. Exploration: “The Space in Between”
A series of open tasks focused on contact, distances, pauses, and transitions. Participants move individually, in duos, and in small groups, exploring how negative space can shape movement and connection.
3. Free Jam
An open-format improvisation where movement, sound, and presence merge. No audience — everyone becomes part of the shared experiment.
IMPROV Playground is a welcoming space for movers, dancers, musicians, performers, and anyone curious about embodied exploration. No experience needed — just curiosity and a willingness to meet others in between.
