Paint what one wears workshop

Workshop plan:

The workshop is divided into 3 phases.

In phase 1, the artist will show you how she paints her own outfit that she wears to the workshop. This step will take up to 15 minutes and will be explained if required.

In phase 2, you will paint the artist’s outfit using her techniques, but in your own way. In this round you will paint 3 pieces, the first in 15 minutes, the second in 10 minutes and the last in just 5 minutes. This is to help you break free from details and just rely on your instinct.

In phase 3 you can paint your own reference picture that you have brought to the workshop, your own oufit, or you can paint the other participant if you want to team up for a session. We will all enjoy drinks, relax, paint and have fun. At the end, you’ll leave with your own expressive artwork that contains that special experience. These can make a meaningful gift for your friends, families or just for yourself.

What you can prepare for the workshop.

A reference photo with the entire outfit of you or the people you want to paint.

As this course is figure painting based on outfit styling, the artist encourages everyone to be bold and wear their favourite colours to help create figures in great colour contrast for themselves and others.

Also, you can bring an apron or clothes that can get dirty.

towels to soak up water droplets
