Interdisciplinary Jam Session - The Melting Point

THE MELTING POINT is a themed jam session devoted to the moment of transition — where ice turns to water, stillness becomes flow, and what was held begins to release.

This interdisciplinary gathering brings together movers, musicians, and visual artists in an exploration of melting — as sensation, as process, as metaphor.

We’ll begin in slowness, in cool tones and contained gestures, holding space for what remains from winter. Gradually, we will allow those forms to soften. In the body, that might mean letting go of muscular tension, finding fluidity in motion. In sound, textures may blur and rhythms emerge. In visual art, one idea will melt into another — evolving, dissolving, transforming.

The Melting Point invites us to meet change not as a sudden shift, but as a slow, sensitive unfolding. A return to flow. A prelude to bloom.
