About the event
During these two days I will share everything I have learned about photography so far from many courses, masterclasses, my studies at the National Film School in Lodz, observation and experience. I want to be for you for these three days so that together we can inspire each other. I will try to show you why I love photography and invite you to this world.
I have prepared for you two days of knowledge in a nutshell and fun - from beginning (inspirations, ideas for projects) to end (exhibitions, publications).
11 May 2024
Photography as dance act: magic of long-exposure. Creative process. Inspirations.
PART 1: lecture, conversation In the first part, we will talk about the entire creative process until the photo session itself. I'll say a few words about myself. If you want, I will be happy to hear about you. Then I will show you how photography has many views and what it can be. I will share my inspirations (not only photographic) and ways to stimulate creativity and that photography can be treated as self-therapy. We will also talk about preparing for a photo session, about what is important and how to take care of comfort during a photo session. PART 2: practice! We'll dance with the camera! In this part, we will carry out a creative photo session with a model. I'll make a set for us and we'll work with costume and fashion. Everyone (with my support) will be able to realise a photo session - we will focus on playing with a long exposure.
12 May 2024
Colours in photography, fun in postproduction. The image of the artist, creating art communities - collaborations. Exhibitions - how to use the space& show your work in a different way? PART 1 : postproduction
On the second day in the first part we will work on your photos (from the previous day), I will show you different possibilities of what can be done with the image. I will try to encourage you to open your head and look for interesting visual solutions.
PART 2: and what's next?
In this part I will try to encourage you to share with the world what you create. We will talk about being an Artist and about the possibility of making amazing collaborations and relationships with others. I will also show a lot of inspiration on how you can present your work in a different way.

During the workshops, snacks and drinks will be provided for participants, but we recommend bringing something specific to eat. There will be a longer break during the workshops for recharging batteries and taking a breather.
As the best work is done on personal equipment, participants who have the option are encouraged to bring their own digital camera (May 11th) and laptop with Adobe photo editing software installed, as well as a mobile device (May 12th). For those who do not have this option, equipment will be available on site.
